Stages of Development
Stage 1 (Conversion and Infrastructure)
- Transfer Jake's existing data to MediaWiki format on this site
- Create article templates and start pages
- Create development guidelines (this page)

Stage 2 (Invite users to participate)
During this stage, new users will actively be sought so that the wiki can take on a life of its own.

Stage 3 (Sit back and watch)
- Select several users upon which to bestow admin rights
- Fight spam and vandalism
- Enjoy watching the users grow the site
Projects in Progress
- Beginners Guides
- This project will be something like Beginners Guide to Aquariums or ...to Saltwater Aquariums or ...to Reef Keeping or maybe each one. Not sure how to organize it. See entry on the proposals page
- Livestock Classification
- A comprehensive list of aquatic organisms and their classifications.
More Ways to Contribute
- Review the needs picture list. Upload a picture and apply it. Remember to remove the {{pic}} tag after adding a picture.
- Review the needs work list. Do some research and expand the page.
- Review the list of orphaned pages. These are articles that have no links leading to them. Choose an orphaned page, and adopt it by linking to it from other articles.
- Review the list of uncategorized pages. Find a category for one of these pages to fit into.
- Review the list of broken links. These are links to articles that don't exist. Click on one of the links and write an article.
- Visit requested articles and write an article
